Not a lottery ticket....better! The first time I am truly residing legally in a country!! (yes yes, valid visas in Moldova and Serbia - no worry). And better yet, as my paper work and visa came so late, I am perfectly legal until mid-December. Plenty of time to gain a contract and remain on same type of visa in order to renew the card for another two years. Yes...silly or not, I'm proud. (get the actual card in 40 days)

Also, had some normal casual interaction with my fellow human beings. Sure, Nestor the Gestor, but another guy from Mexico working for BMW, and a few immigrants. The man from Peru seemed amazed I needed to go though the same process (guess he didn't see the lawyer who cuts the line time by about 3-4 hours!) I had a really hard time understanding his accent. The woman behind me, also from Peru, was named Jenny too- que raro, eh.
