I'm proud to say I know enough Spanish history to get a good Manual Fraga joke.
Thanks Dr. Kern.

Ahhhh. Kraft Macaroni & Cheese. I haven't had it for years! I once bought a few boxes and brought it back to Budapest, but I had bought a cheaper brand and it was disgusting.

Funny, when I was a kid I wouldn't eat a whole box of it! I think I'm going to be ill now. At least a little heartburn.

Why did I begin to gradually gain weight after my mom died? Nature, yes. But also no more home-cooked meals. Home-cooked, but maybe not as one would imagine.

Mondays: Hamburger patty with potato or green beans.
Tuesdays: Rigatoni, with the world's best home-made sauce. Cucumber and tomato salad.
Wednesday: Left-over rigatoni. Salad, with iceberg lettuce and thousand-island dressing.
Thursday: Parmesan chicken, baked, with potatos; or Kraft Macaroni and Cheese. Green beans.
Fridays: Eat out :-)))
Saturdays: Eat out one meal. Sandwich one meal.
Sundays: ??? Maybe chili.

Of course, there was a snack at night; Candy bar, cookies, or ice cream. Sometimes the easy bake chocolate chip cookies, from the cookie dough roll. Sometimes Jiffy Pop!

Flirting in Madrid.

For Xmas and New Year's Eve, funny wigs are the standard. I was close to buying a striking red one.
Giant storms hit parts of Europe this week. Hungary was going to get it bad, but luckly escaped at the last minute.http://index.hu/gal?dir=0701/bulvar/vihar/

Here is a photo I took of myself this afternoon, reading my mail from America. No reason.

Having seen my name in Russian before (Moldova - Yugoslavia - both used Cyrillic), I almost didn't click... but this ads a whole new dimension. Definitely reminds me... "Dzenifer, you go discooo?: -)

Thank you Kati, for hauling my shoes, sensible and not, across Europe. I wore my penny loafers today... ummm... surprising comfortable. It's that they are loosely tight, keeping the foot straight. OK arch too. And for me, so retro.

Thank you Tibi, for being by my side when we found out that my checked luggage would cost more than my ticket there and back! It was more than monopoly money.
