Very moved today my "Southwest Americana" friend Randy Granger's version of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah. He's a hard working, touring singer-songwriter from New Mexico, specializing in Native American flute music, hang drum, and percussion. And what a voice. Check out is site - http://www.randygranger.net/index.html
and video here
- from YouTube "The Leonard Cohen song Hallelujah interpreted by Randy Granger. Performed on Native American flute, Halo, guitar, bass and vocals. This is from the 2010 release Pura Vida-This is Pure Life available at cdbaby.com, Amazon.com, iTunes, RandyGranger.net and many other places online. Filmed in southern New Mexico near the Three Rivers Petroglyph site. Filming by Randy James Garcia.
Thank you for watching, for sharing and for your comments. I hope this version shows my huge respect and appreciation of the master songsmith Leonard Cohen."
